On 1 March the Balmain and Leichhardt Indigenous students participated in a Sydney Story Factory Workshop at the cultural space in Glebe Town Hall. The theme for this workshop was 'Because Of Her' and the students participated in a number of engaging activities where they got a chance to acknowledge Indigenous women who have made an impact on their lives. By the end of the activity each student had written a poem that described their female idol and how they perceived them. The session was concluded through a Rock and Water activity which both Balmain and Leichhardt students got an opportunity to collaborate with other students.
